The Conlon Collection revived the work of photographer Charles M. Conlon, whose black-and-white images captured the early decades of the game; the Color subset added tinting to a handful of these classic portraits. Lou Gehrig anchored the Yankees at first base through the 1920s and 1930s, and his consecutive-games streak stood for decades before Cal Ripken Jr. surpassed it.
